Star Wars related because Chuck Norris was in Dodgeball with William Shatner, and William Shatner was in Fanboys with Ray Park, who played Darth Maul.

So, after my sophomore year of college, I went home for the summer, worked a meaningless job for 3 months, and goofed around with my brother, who was finishing up an alt certification program to teach. This is in the 90s by the way.

One day, he's got a job interview at a school, but he needs a ride to the job interview because his wife is using their car to go to work. He asks me to give him a lift and I oblige.

On the way over there is when he mentions that the job interview will last probably 3-4 hours. I have a book with me, but still, 3-4 hours!

So I'm sitting in the totally empty hallway of this school while he goes into the library for the interview. About 3 hours in, I hear a door open way at the other end of the hallway - I've seen no one in the school to that point and a man starts walking down this long hallway towards me.

By the time he's in range, I feel like I have seen this guy before, and when he's within 20 feet, I'm about 95% sure it's Chuck Norris, as bizarre as that sounds to every fiber of my being.

He walks up and says, "Hi, do you know where the vending machines are?" and I stammered out that I didn't because I didn't work there, but I was just there because my brother had a job interview today.

He says no problem and turns to leave and then I just couldn't stand it so I blurted out, "Hey, uh, are you Chuck Norris?" He turns back and confirms he is and shakes my hand and asks how I am. I am still trying to figure out what's going on and ask him what he's doing there.

He explains that he had filmed a movie in Houston a couple of years before (Sidekicks) and had had a big karate camp while filming, and had come back the next summers to have another one.

At this point, the library doors open and the principal and other admins emerge, followed by my brother, who is exhausted and just ready to get out of there.

I point and say, "Hey look, man! It's Chuck Norris!"

Chuck Norris holds out his hand to my brother and says, "Hey! How'd the interview go?"

Amazing. I can't even imagine how disoriented your brother was the second he walked out of that interview.

Great story dude! Can't imagine how thrown off someone would have to be from something like that.
