Ha! Never made that connection but it does resemble that.

Ultimately they did it based on steampunk. If you haven't seen the video of them making it definitely check it out

Freshly back in Texas after a family visit to Disney World.

Rise of the Resistance gets a 9/10 for awesomeness.
Smugglers Run gets a 7/10, maybe because I was the engineer and the kids were the gunners.

Savi's Lightsaber Workshop was awesome. Son got a green blade to be like Yoda, and daughter a blue one to be like Rey. Also, the young woman who helped the kids assemble it was an Aggie who was proudly wearing her ring, so that was great.

Rise was absolutely top notch and Savi's was worth if for a one-time experience. The Cantina was a highlight just for the atmosphere.
We still love Star Tours - especially as there are times there is virtually no line and we would hop right back on for 2-3 times through.

aggie ring is not cannon to the illustrious Star Wars Universe!

This means Texas A&M is canon. Meaning Texags is canon.

We are currently in the Star Wars universe.

Had a similar experience in Galaxy's edge. Wonderful place.

Oh hells yeah! Looks amazing!

I just got around to finishing Boba Fett last night and while I enjoyed it I found myself wishing it had more of a movie look to it. At times it looked too TV like and the practical effects suffered for it. It's like if it's too crisp and clear an image sometimes the fact that armor is just plastic or an alien is just a mask stand out a lot more. I feel like practical effects need the film look to be pulled off.

This show looks more film like and epic in it's cinematography.

Trailer does look good, though I'm still wary of Kenobi and Vader meeting and think the Grand Inquisitor doesn't look very good. Still, really looking forward to it.
