Don't forget the super dark side cave protecting them on dagoba. And the sand on tattoine. So it's all good.

The "Certain point of view" short stories were not very good overall, but the best was definitely the one about Ben and Qui-Gon. That story happened during ANH while Luke rushed off to the farm after they discovered the destroyed sandcrawler, but something similar could easily be done in the show. Basically it was just them talking, with Qui-Gon knowing Obi-Wan would die soon. Qui-Gon was sort of distracted and had trouble understanding the passage of time, having stepped out of the Cosmic Force to partially exist in the physical world. It was well done.

I wonder how faithful they'll be to the idea that Qui-Gon couldn't manifest as a Force Ghost. We learn that during the Clone Wars series, but it would be easy to present as a skill he honed after death.

Not that Star Wars has ever been about realistic military strategy, but putting Obi-Wan and Yoda in the same spot would be quite the risk considering the perilous position of the rebel cause. Talk about a target for Vader or Palps...
hell…..take it a step farther and think about how easy of targets the Jedi become once they are in a ship (mainly referring to small fighters)….seems like they'd be taken out way more when piloting than anything else

But this ain't Star Trek and they can't "beam down" so waddya gonna do?

Still have high hopes for a Qui-Gon force ghost.
I'm pretty sure his voice was included in the pantheon of dead Jedi voices talking to Rey at the end of TROS. Not at all the same as seeing Qui-Gon as a shimmering Force ghost ala Alec Guiness in TESB/ROTJ.

Just because I was curious I checked and Alec Guinness was 62 in 1976 when they were filming SW. Ewan McGregor is 51 now.

I don't think that scene means anything. We didn't see Obi-Wan or Luke either.

Also that scene stills bugs me endlessly.

That doesn't sound like Kanan Jarrus at all, if it's supposed to be him. Do you mean the very last voice?

edit: I did hear Qui Gon in that.

I guess the last one is Luke, sorry I jumped the gun. Kana says "in the heart of a Jedi lies her strength."

Interesting. I'm not going to argue because I don't know but that still doesn't sound like him at all with that last line.

It also never hit me that Rey is basically a Bene Gesserit after reading through that.

Rebels question: I'm probably reading more into this than I should, but in the beginning of S3 Kanan is declared a Jedi Knight by Bendu after losing his sight and evolving his own understanding of things. However, in those same episodes in that same story arc Maul repeatedly refers to him as Jedi Master.

Is he just taunting Kanan, or mistaken, or is this a plot hole?

He's a master like Anakin was a master, in that he had a Padawan.

None of the titles or ranks of Jedi have ever made sense.

Had a Zoom call tonight with a German documentary filmmaker currently in Thailand. About 2 minutes in, I noticed his Darth Vader coffee mug and had to show off my 1978 R2-D2 model. Next 20 minutes were talking Star Wars before we got back to the point of the call

Obi-Wan's real life booty call Mary Elizabeth Wisntead joins the Ahoska cast in an unknown role. Good looking cast - between her, Ivanna Sachno (also unknown role), Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine.

Plus Ray Stevenson, probably as Pealleaon and Hayden coming back as Anakin for flashback scenes. Now I just need Ezra and Thrawn cast.

Does anyone else feel like between Ahsoka and Obi-Wan appearances, we're going to get a sort of "Batman: Year One" surprise announcement coming up with Hayden as the star?
