I like that you used panels from comics. The Vader V Maul one strengthens my opinion that SW comics are a scourge on the galaxy.

Star Wars comics are like most comics, very hit or miss. I love the Visionary Series and the Tales Series and Tag and Bink.

Only one character is pitching a 100% shutout through today's Sweet 16 early returns.

Lando is currently getting his ass kicked, although there's another upset brewing that I definitely never saw coming if it holds.

Considering how locked down info on the series has been it wouldn't be surprising at all for it to just be leaking now. The article also mentions they've been chasing the story for a bit.

Great fit, timewise. Ahsoka is born 36 years BBY and Mando is set 9 years after so she should be about 45 years old. Dawson turns 41 this year.

Just unreal to think that a live-action Ahsoka has shot scenes. Wish they'd play the first episode she is in in the movie theater - that crowd reaction will be off the charts, especially assuming she interacts with Baby Yoda.

So will it be her returning to the Outer Rim or Mando going into Wild Space. Maybe Ahsoka has found the secret world of Yodas and has been hiding out there.

This almost certainly means we get Sabine, right?

I think so with the introduction of the dark saber.

That is going to be emotional when she steps on screen. I hope Ashley eckstein gets involved somehow. They already got Matt Lanter who voiced Anakin in the show.

I had to look up who Ahsoka was. So there were two different clone wars series?

I was well into my 20s by the time these came out and it just wasn't on my radar. Are both series worth watching?

There was an anime-style animated one before Ep3 came out. Ahsoka is not in that.

After Ep3, Lucas released a new CGI film called The Clone Wars that introduced Ahsoka and kicked off the series that is available on Disney+. When Disney bought Lucasfilm/Star Wars, they ended the series, and just continued it about a month ago.

The movie is pretty meh, imo, but the series has some really good stuff in it.

There is also a CGI show called rebels that is maybe 4 or 5 years old and features Ahsoka, some.

AHSOKA.
This is my favorite StarWars characters. This does not surprise me, but I have been trying to keep my expectations low. Filoni has been hinting at this, Dawson has hinted at it, and DICE has been sitting on a finished Ahsoka for SW Battlefront II for a while now. I really have confidence they are going to pull this off.

If I wanted to prep for Ahsoka's appearance in season two of The Mandalorian, but I've never seen a single second of the character on screen before, and am not likely to go back and watch all of The Clone Wars, are there, say, five to eight essential episodes I could watch to get the gist?

Good question.
Yes, I think Texans could figure this out. I will think on that tomorrow. I seem to have time these days.
That being said, the new episode of CW released today and it introduces Ahsoka from the kinda cliffhanger where we left off before CW went away.
But I will say, go ahead and watch the first ep of CW where she was introduced. It was an intro, and her character grew through the seasons, but this gives a hint at what her relationship with Anakin is.
