I'm usually the first person to roll my eyes at the guy that likes to nit-pic everything... but why the heck is Greedo on the New Hope image!!?? I mean, why include him when Ackbar, Antilles, the Imperial Admiral, etc. are omitted. Strange.

I wouldn't read too much into Poe's seemingly small role. I think you're actually seeing various degrees of a few things:

1. Poe, as a "new" hero of the Resistance, demonstrates that the world has kept moving without Luke (and Han, I guess). They're still fighting, and new people have stepped up.

2. Poe is a catalyst for some of the adventure and urgency in TFA, but may play a much larger role going forward.

3. I still think there's a lot of rope-a-dope going on here. False flags, red herrings, etc. Tough to tell exactly what we're getting.

Poe has had a role in every trailer.

Either those were pawns or his current absence is a pawn.

Either way, we are all playing checkers while JJ is playing chess.
