Star Wars Kids channel on YouTube, there's a ton of stuff. It's a great reason for you to start having kids, other than the downside of never being able to sleep in again and paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy stuff for someone else.Brian Earl Spilner said:

SHOWed these to my 5 year old about 3-4 months ago.
My 3 year old isn't old enough for the real movies yet, but she loves these, and they don't have the big spoilers (Daddy Vader, Sister Leia)

Wow. Those are so good. Especially the Hoth one. Can't wait to show the kids.
and that got me thinking. The possibilities with Disney stream are endless. How cool would it be to have a series, either live action or animated, that explored iconic SW scenes from a flipped perspective. The entire invasion/assault of Hoth shown from Vader's perspective would be epic.

Well, I would argue that the prequels are and [George] Lucas in general is the bedrock that all of this is built on. He is the first person that had digital photography, he was the first person to do completely CG characters. The whole notion of not having even a print [version of the film], of having everything be 0's and 1's, was all George. Not to mention EditDroid, which turned into Avid, Pixar was spawned out of their laboratories at LucasFilm, so he is arguably the center of the Big Bang for everything that I'm doing. It's building on the shoulders of what he was able to innovate.

6) Only a non-Jedi can carry the ring.
7) You're not allowed to have a droid carry the ring, because I said so.
The mission: Carry the ring from the Shire to Mount Doom following Frodo's path which would include going through the Mines of Moria (underground, full of orcs, a cave troll and the Balrog),through the dead marshes, up the staircase where the giant spider lives and to the volcano Mount Doom with a billion more orcs and Nazgul and nasties abounding.

Will answer fully in a bit, but letting Chewie carry the ring seems dangerous. This is the wookie that fell for a deer on the stick trap. Temptation is bad, m'kay

1) Obi-Wan to provide guidance and sacrifice himself fighting the Balrog
2) R2-D2 is the Sam Gamgee of the group, dutiful, fearless, will get shht done
3) Beckett skilled warrior that starts out with good intentions but tries to take the ring later
4) Chewie muscle who can fight off just about anything, or pick up a companion and run them to safety
5) Hera - Seems like a more capable fighter than Leia, but more trustworthy to carry the ring than Jyn.

Most of those short stories are crap and poorly written. Another one that is really nice is Yoda on Dagobah during the events of Episode IV sort of struggling to keep on going on his day-to-day; he has to make a long trek to harvest some food to sustain himself in Dagobah's colder weather, when ghost Obi-Wan shows up after having been killed by Vader, and you can tell Yoda is relieved to not be alone all the time anymore.

Was definitely a highlight of that book. Wil Wheaton's story was also very good.
