I really think Reys staff is just a staff in this movie... And if o had to make a baseless prediction, she'll end up building a light saber based off a staff, since that's what she's used to.

I'm starting to think the X-Wings might be the real star of this movie. Pretty much EVERY shot of them is completely bad ass!


And the Finn vs. Stormtrooper still has me scratching my head on many levels. That scene is from the 2nd act of the movie (at least I'm pretty sure it is). So Finn not only has the lightsaber at this point, but he is confident enough to whip it out and take a swing with it. Yet, the Stormtroopers are somehow already equipped with tools to counter a lightsaber, even though Jedi are becoming things of legend at this point. I don't get it! I hope it's not a sign of sloppy story telling where you just sorta have to go along with certain things even though it doesn't make much sense.

Maybe the technology had become common. Kylo had a rough model so it's not out of the realm of possibility that some weapons manufacturer has developed the technology.

Gosh dangit!!!!! Just realized Star Wars has once again killed my productivity at work. I thought we already saw the one and only trailer... but NOOOOooooooo... they gotta keep giving us small looks here and there. Hey geniuses... we can't spend money on Star Wars if we don't have jobs. Knock it off and let us get to work!!!!

It's like we're all sitting at a table, starving and waiting impatiently for our food. And they keep bringing us delicious appetizers. We don't want to ruin our meal but damn if they aren't delicious.
