Watching the "Under the Helmet: the Legacy of Boba Fett" on Disney+ right now and it is fascinating. They show clips of a Marin County fair where Lucas put Darth Vader and Boba Fett in the parade...and this was months before the Holiday Special, so literally no one knew who this character was.

I'm also very proud to be the owner of a Star Wars card that I had Jeremy Bulloch sign for me back in the mid 90's.

Goes into how the character was created, and how a character with only 6 minutes of screen time turned into the phenomenon that he is. Very cool.


He had more than six minutes of screen time in the holiday special.

Nothing else is coming today. Slight chance that there may be something shown at D23 next week, but that's mostly focused on the 50th Anniversary of Disney World. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I've somehow never been to Disneyland or Disney World, but I'm finally doing Disneyland November 22 & 23 with the family. Gonna try to do Galaxy's Edge, but no one else in my family watches Star Wars, not even my eight-year-old nephews, so who knows. They didn't last 20 minutes into A New Hope, but maybe GE will finally jump-start their interest.

Star Wars movie did numbers because it's star wars. They nailed it with THe Mandalorian. Everything else has been a mess.
