I was wondering how many people watching had never actually used one of those, or wondered what that 'lever' thingy was on the disc drive. Hell, there are probably people that have never even used any kind of disc drive.

I loved the final scene at the table with Phillip and Elizabeth facing off. I think that is your story arc for next season.

I thought about Oleg being Sandra's guy, but decided it was too much.

I'm really interested to season how much Beamon confesses to Gaad. How odd is it that the soviets needed two pieces to stealth and they have two next door neighbors working on it, unbeknownst to each other.

This series has to end one of two ways, right?

1) P&E get caught.

2) P&E unplug from the Soviets and melt into America.

I suppose there's a third way where P&E get caught and turn double agent, but no way I see E going for that

What if Paige takes up the family business, gets caught, and the US forces P&E to go double for leniency?

Does it bother anyone else that during this entire time, the FBI wouldn't do a routine bug sweep of their own office and find the pen bug in Gaad's office?

Yep. And not just any floppy, one of just 3 in the world with the magically complex program that has so little code that Beeman could video it in a few seconds while it scrolled.

Wait....are people actually assuming that the bit of code Beeman saw was the entirety of the program?!?!? C'mon. One of the great things about this show is that it doesn't spooning feed the audience.

It could be, that Beeman didn't go through with it because he couldn't go through with it. Not with that General dude sitting right there. He would have to scroll through every file on that disk.

I don't know how much he captured with his camera. It just seemed pretty silly either way (the fact it is apparently on floppy and his apparent copy plan). And let's not get too carried away with how high brow this show is. Speaking of spoonfeeding, I thought the kid's very lengthy and detailed confession while gushing blood out of his neck and mouth was absolutely audience spoonfeeding.

What camera a do you keep referring to? He was wearing a wire.

And I agree that Jared's exorcism before he died was over the top, but I do t think that was spoon feeding as much as just closing out a story line that had run it's course.

He had a camera on his shirt.
What struck me is that even if he recorded the interface, that isn't helpful to the Russians. They would need the underlying code with the algorithms.

They don't say this on the show, but the equations used to calculate the radar cross section of a surface was developed by a Soviet scientist. They didn't realize what gold they had. We sorta stole it from them and wrote software that was able to produce a shape that had a low cross section and could fly.

So to bring it back to the show, all the Russians need is info that ties echo to those sets of equations. They could then develop similar software of their own. They wouldn't need every line of code.

It was a camera, not a wire. He was leaned over in front of the screen while the code scrolled. A wire doesn't need to thread through the shirt.

Finally caught up

For beeman to dream about Martha putting classified docs in her bag, he either suspects it or has unconsciously noticed it but has been too preoccupied to put it together...or care.

The show runners mentioned inan interview with Sepinwall that that exact detail was definitely done with a purpose, so I expect to see something about that next season.
