Agreed. Unless I hear they totally revamp the movie's twist, this will be the first bond I skip in theaters in a long time.

I'm pretty darn excited for it. Bond is my favorite franchise of all time and I like the direction they are going with it

I didn't enjoy Skyfall much at all, so when I heard the next bond's script was atrocious, I decided to read the synopsis to see if I should save myself the price of a ticket. The trailer appears to confirm the very disappointing plot hasn't been fixed, although they do a good job making it look intriguing for folks who don't know what's coming.

I liked skyfall up until the bad guy showed up. He was horrible as was his whole scheme. Far too reliant on completely-suspend-logic events for even a Bond movie

I enjoyed Skyfall, except for the groundskeeper at the estate. His Scottish accent was distractingly awful.

I've liked all the new Bond films despite having read all the Fleming books, so I'm not really worried about them challenging "canon" with any new plot devices.

Yeah, drives me nuts when people make up their mind like this half a year in advance. So much could and probably has changed since the Sony hack, and there's absolutely no way to know for sure either way from that trailer. It's like the guy in the Star Wars thread who said he won't see Episode VII based on completely unconfirmed - and likely untrue - rumors EIGHT MONTHS out.

Look at it this way, if someone today told you Jar Jar Binks would have a prominent role in the next Star Wars movie, would you still want to see it on opening day, if at all? Probably not. If a few days after its release, a friend who saw it tells you it's been rewritten and Jar Jar either never shows up or dies in the opening minutes, would you change your mind on not seeing it and pick up a ticket? Probably.
