Looks like they squeezed the Schrute Farms pilot into an Office opening sequence... I thought it was funny, but awkwardly done.

So I'm guessing Jim and Darryl eat the cupcakes, get drug tested, and get fired.

Kevin going back for seconds.

If they do (or if they did) a tribute episode, like Seinfeld did, how would you do it?

I'd love to see every soft opening (or whatever they call it) from the entire history all in one hour long show (if they could fit it).

"A where are the now" could work. I dont know if they have ever done anything that dates the show to the present, so it would be like we were watching the documentary and they are just now finished and get everyones (including Michael's) reactions.

If they try to be funny and do a wake up and he's in the shower scene or a retarded kid with a sno-globe, I will shoot them.

it appears that there is a group trying to get a 2-hour Office finale..

Looks like we're fully engaged in the "show within a show" thing.

Tonight's episode description:
quote:
The office employees are excited when TV commercials for the documentary begin airing; Angela is jealous when Dwight starts dating a farmer; Jim meets with professional baseball player Ryan Howard.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Haha, the other Ryan Howard

sounds like tonight is a clip show.

Tonight was actually a pretty good episode I felt.

I'm just so uninterested by anything Jim and his new job it's sad.

The rest of the show was meh. Dwight and new kid were slightly watchable.

Hurry up and end.

re: pahdz

Agree. Except for the whole Jim/Pam drama still going on.

Nellie posting comments as TexasPoonTapper was funny.

And the Ryan Howard bit was pretty good.

Pam ruining it. Not a huge fan of the reveal.

Would have been a great episode if they cut the Jim/Pam drama.

I love the angle about them just now realizing how much the cameras have caught over the years.

I loved the Oscar/Angela phone message.

Except that over the years they gave pretty much confessed on camera to everything that they are getting upset about.

I liked Clark saying Angela was a Scranton 8 after Dwight said she was an 8.

The one thing they have done right this season is pull way back on the Nellie storylines and when she does do something now its pretty funny.

Clark has been great on this show, too bad they couldn't have brought him along sooner.

Loved it when Clark was making fun of Jim's hair.

Clark has been incredible

This was one of the best episodes this season... which isn't saying a whole lot but still!

It was a good episode and the brief aspect of Nellie was good. Overall, one of the better episodes. I still hate seeing the conflict of Jim and Pam.

At least she doesnt bone the boom boom guy, apparently.

to people complaining about Jim and Pam, are you complaining about the "breaking them up" storyline or just complaining about their relationship in general being shown on the show, because the latter has been a part of the show since season 2.

I hate the Jim/Pam thing, because since the beginning the entire story line has been about their love for each other......even when they weren't together.

Now that they are at the end, they are throwing together this almost cheating, crappy relationship story line?

Just seems out of character, rushed and forced......and as the show ends, I want laughs....not Jim/Pam sadness.

I'm annoyed because it feels like forced drama.

Jim could do better and has. Pam would be a creature of an ex-wife, but all of them are.

another vote for the Jim/Pam current storyline being a horrible way to go out.

not sure where they are going with it (divorce?) (realization/reminder of their love?) or what but its a pain in the ass storyline to watch. just way outa character and forced (as already mentioned).

last nights show was a B-.

i was fearing that Pam goin over to that dudes house was going to lead to something uncomfortable to watch but thankfully it it didn't go all the way with an all and all Pam cheat.

once pam and jim had a kid, they had no idea what to do with their characters anymore, so they had the chick try to seduce jim, then they had jim act completely out of character and get into this business deal without consulting pam. for years, we were told jim's dream was to be with pam, the job didn't really matter. Suddenly, he is so into this job that he doesn't tell his wife/best friend about it? Totally ridiculous.

i'll repeat my claim that they should have ended the show with the niagra /wedding episode, consider:

jim/pam - married, beginning their happily ever
michael - hooks up with pam's mom, unimaginable reprecussions
dwight - hooks up with pam's best friend, ditto
kevin - rocking the toupee as he tries to date again
andy/erin - just beginning a relationship, that has played out miserably onscreen
the company - not bought by sabre, no printer selling BS, no need for terrible gabe, or robert california or kathy bates (who I liked) or will ferrell to try and come in and breathe life into it.

Dwight hooked up with Pam's sister, but otherwise, solid post

Just watched last weeks episode, I found myself laughing a decent amount. I enjoyed it. Again, I'm with people not enjoying the Jim/Pam stuff.

Dunder-pedia disagrees with you.

Pam's sister was way hotter.

I think Jim is going to get fired from the sports job and they're going to opt to keep Darryl.

I also think Pam and Jim will work it out in the end.

Since the Dwight pilot didn't get picked up, I'm thinking all that backstory on his family was pretty much for nothing. might've been funny but who knows.

don't really agree, they don't even deal with the kids on camera much only here and there. it seems more that they've just run out of angles on them as they were happy.
