Thought last night was hilarious. It also weirdly reminded me of the "Jesus is the Head of Standards and Practices" sketch episode of Studio 60, continuing the weird relationship the two shows have.

"weird relationship"? the relationship is SNL.

one was a pretentious hr long dramedy that tried to show behind the scenes at a fictionalized SNL. the other is a funny half hr comedy set behind the scenes at a fictionalized NBC on a sketch show very similar to SNL.

Thanks for explaining that. I obviously needed the help- it's not like I'm well-versed enough in both shows to notice when one uses a similar idea of the other 6 years later.

How is it acting like a tard? Is it weird that 2 shows about the same random subject appeared on the same network on the same year? IMO. Is it weird that the respective creators got publicly snippy with each other, then the creator of the canceled show makes a cameo on the one still on the air? In a meta way, yes. Is it weird that the "funny show" is quasi recycling ideas from sketches on the "non funny" show? Just an observation I had.
