Just watched both versions with my little girl. I can't seem to make it through without crying like a baby

I still hold a place in my heart for the original. The new one wasn't bad....I just like the first one better.

Definitely the first one for me. Partly b/c I just couldn't take Dave Matthews seriously but mostly b/c the original just has so much childhood sentiment for me.

I remember reading that book over and over when I was a kid. I've never been able to force myself to watch the movies. I'm sure they're great.

I remember reading the book in 4th grade. I'd read it when I'd finish work early in class, just waiting on the next period.

I remember balling when the first dog died and couldn't stop and was so embarrassed.
