Yes, but you could make a case for KKG as a 6, but KD and DG have fallen lately.

When I was there (91-95), I always heard that the top 6 were Kappa, Zeta, Chi-O, Theta, Tri-Delt, and Pi Phi, with the top 3 being those I listed first. Some of the ones that are there now (like KD) weren't there then. Has that order changed much?

Thats a pretty solid ranking. I would say the 6 listed are the most prominent 6, with DG and A-Chi-O, coming up just behind them.

ya the Tri Delt have cleaned it up recently. DG pretty much takes anyone now so you get a full mix of about everything.

I don't know that I completely agree with the assessment of Chi-Os and Thetas. I lived with 3 Chi-Os one year, and I would put the description that you have for the Thetas on the Chi-Os. Chi-O also has had the highest GPA of all the sororities for the past few years. I don't know the Thetas all that well, but I wouldn't call them Bible thumpers.

I also agree that the Tri-Delts have cleaned up a little bit. I haven't met a KD that I haven't liked, and I haven't met a DG that I have.

MKF, my biggest weight on "prestige" was difficulty to get in and how much of a mold you had to fit in order to get in. Thats pretty much how I ranked them.

nah, I know lots of great girls in GPB and KD. Those two are growing, as is KKG. ADPi is getting smaller and less known.

AgGirl, the only knock I know against them is that they're on the slooty side, but for the most part, liked. They're just not one of the big 6.
