Yeah I have some. Mostly because I just didn't get around to deleting them but I still have my Dad in my pinned contacts after 6.5 years of him being gone. Also have a couple of voicemails I hadn't deleted when he died I kept.

Just doesn't feel right deleting them and it does nothing for me to do so, so they'll probably stay there forever.

Yes. I don't delete contacts from my phone.
I have Snapchat, and one of my dead friend's number shows up as a "contact already on snap" or whatever, but the person with their new number has a ridiculous username, so it's a little funny seeing my (male) friend's name and the username of like "sexiicuteprincess69"

I have my parents and a career mentor that I cannot delete from my phone since they passed.
My parents only had one mobile phone for the two of them (my dad didn't like them much), which is still listed in my contacts as "Mom & Dad" even though my dad is gone.
Yes, many. I don't delete contacts. I've just been accumulating them for 20+ years. There are people who have died, people I don't want to talk to, and even people I don't remember who they are.
1- the lady who helped me adopt- we used a facilitator to help with the process. She was an Angel on Earth and the greatest blessing (besides my child) I've ever encountered.

Yep, friend that worked in the 12th man office. somehow her work phone number got into my contacts. Only problem is that every time the ticket office calls me, her picture and name show up and scares the bejessus out of me for second or two before I figure out what's going on. She would've thought that was hilarious to haunt me from beyond the grave, so I've never changed it.

Yes. I've never deleted anyone as far as I know unless it was old work contacts.

I probably should delete his contact and text history from my phone, seeing as that's the only incriminating evidence / blackmail material left, but that's a part of my past I don't want to completely let go of yet. Same for reb comma and a few others. I don't read it, but I like knowing it is still there.
No idea. I never look at my contacts. There's probably 100s of contacts on my phone. Mostly work related that have accumulated over 20 years of being with the same company. And most are people I've never actually met in person.
I have a voicemail from my dad who died 11 years ago. He just says "hey I saw you called me…giving you a call back…see ya". The voicemail is from shortly before he died and it's the last recording I have of his voice. I can't delete it.
I noticed that iPhones will let you forward/email/text voicemails, in case you want to make a copy. I have one or two that I will save that way.
Same with Facebook / Instagram. Seems like it's not fair to unfriend them cause they died.

I have a voicemail of her wishing me a happy birthday; I missed her call - I called her back, but now glad I missed it b\c I listen to this message every year on my birthday. She was going through chemo and I could hear the sickness in her voice. F* cancer!!
Dad died almost a year ago and I still have him in my contacts. Not sure when or if I will be able to remove him from my phone.

I texted one of my old contacts that I had not interacted with recently at the time. I'm thankful that the new person with the number responded kindly, letting me know that my friend was no longer at the number. I was able to contact the person's daughter to relay the birthday greeting. Now they are deceased. I still haven't deleted the number from my contacts.
I've had the same number since high school 25 years ago. I'm willing to bet there are more dead people in my contacts than I am aware of.

This is sad but good you have that.
I would probably have to delete them because I don't want to risk a spoof call from a saved contact number once the number gets released back for use by someone else, even if that risk is small.
