Reddit seems to say the seltzers and gummies will be ok until November, when the federal ban kicks in. Hopefully they are right and hopefully the THC lobby finds the right number to the right person to stop this foolishness.

The Texas rule doesn't impact Delta-9 products, which is what it looks the stuff at Specs is. However if nothing changes, the OBBBA will limit these drinks to 0.4mg per can after November 12, 2026

Anybody found a good alcohol replacement? Tried a couple to replace my evening vodka/tonic habit but they make my damn mind race. Physically relaxed but mentally a damn rocket ship (the going up kind, not the crashing kind)

You are aware that there are some THC products that are non-psychoactive and are just as effective for pain relief as opioids without the downsides of opiods, right?

My issue with the ban is the politicians leading the charge on this aren't doing so for morality reasons. They're doing it because of folks in the alcoholic beverage industry are looking to squeeze out a competitor industry via campaign donations.

Well I went to the dispensary this evening. I bought Branson supplies. 1/4 oz of a hybrid that's 29.7% THC and a 1g vape pen that's 93% THC. Didn't really know how much to buy for three old guys for three days/nights. Happy I have the freedom to make the decisions and purchases though.

This is bull***** Marijuana is safer and has less health risks than alcohol or tobacco. This is 100% driven by the alcohol industry as I'm sure they are seeing their market share being affected.

I smoke weed, take gummies, drink seltzers. Great time. I also drink alcohol but less so now than I used to when I was younger. Alcohol leaves me feeling gross after with achey legs the next day and there's certainly a hangover when drank too much.

I say again, this is bull**** but I'd expect nothing less from our incompetent leaders. It's 2026 - get with the program. No one cares about legislating this ***** We have far bigger problems.

I'm guessing y'all have other things to do and don't want to spend the whole time high, so that's a pretty decent amount for a 1-2 nights of fun. Keep in mind with edibles you know exactly how much you're taking, it just doesn't hit for like 30-45 minutes. Smoking it's more difficult to tell just how much you've.
