US mixed doubles curling team will go for the gold at 1105am CT

Short track speed skating mixed team relay medal round is at 0600.

Men's freeski slopestyle should be fun and super competitive. Norway's two time defending world champ Birk Ruud finished 1st in qualification. 2022 gold medalist Alex Hall finished a disappointing 8th in qualifying but has the capability of putting on a show. The New Zealand guy who won gold at X-Games a few weeks ago is in the mix. You also have the 2021 world champ and another guy who finished 2nd in last year's world championships competing. Runs start at 0530. Any one of about 5-6 guys could win gold but Ruud is the likely favorite.

Host Italy comes up with a somewhat surprising gold in the mixed team short track relay after the Netherlands and US crash out in the semifinals. Second gold of the Games for the Italian team, who are off to a tremendous start.

Alex Hall cannot hit his final run and settles for silver in the slopestyle. Not satisfied with dominating the traditional winter sports, Norwegians are now winning the X games events, too, with Birk Ruud taking gold.

She did better than the last Olympics by not crashing. Still choked but it's an improvement.

Really enjoyed the ice dancing competition. Fantastic performances. A shame Chock and Bates came up a bit short for the gold.

US Men's curling team just lost to the Swiss. Once it was basically out of reach they pulled the lead (one of my-co-workers) and brought in an alternate. A 54-year old dude and I think they said he was the oldest person ever to complete on a U.S. Olympic team. Kind of cool for that guy.
