What are some good places to visit or eat in Seattle?

Looks like I could catch Baby Metal in concert if I want to go that route!

Pagliacci pizza

Redmond has Nintendo's American HQ in-between all the Microsoft buildings. Fun to drive by

Consider taking a drive north to Deception Pass, or east up the Cascades to Leavenworth, both are beautiful

I've always wanted to go to the Olympia forest area but have never had the time to

Enjoy. Seattle is awesome. If only it were more affordable to live there

If the Mariners are in town, you could score tickets for cheap. T-Mobile park is nice

If you've never been to Pike's Place market, it's pretty cool. That downtown area between the metro train and Pikes Place is quite an eye opener, and you can easily score some drugs it appeared.

Not sure why that emoji appeared……
Being in TexAgs jail changes a man……..no, not really

Buckleys on Anne, it's my old neighborhood bar! Really good food and drink selection, and it's a couple of blocks from Key Arena and the Space Needle

Forks, WA is only a 4 hour drive from Seattle!

Pikes Place, the obligatory Space Needle visit, Chihuly glass museum and I think there is a Pop Culture museum in that same area as well. Just try to avoid/ignore all of the "unhoused" people, druggies, thieves, and try to avoid knocking someone over while they are doing the "fentanyl lean." Or feel free to knock them over, I'm sure its a lot like cow tipping.

How many points do you get per each tipping success?

There was the "If you have one GUY to blow in Seattle" thread.

You can see if you can get a last minute tourist visa for Chasistan. You can't stay long and they don't do work visas.

You could check off that stadium as venues you've been too.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this in stadiums where A&M, or the Rangers weren't playing

I don't care about MLB parks. Or MLB beyond the Astros irritating all their haters and me loving the total silence from the POW POW POW FPTR LIFELONG FAN (since 2010).

Was there over the 4th weekend.
Pretty cool watching fireworks by the needle.
That whole market area at Pikes Place Market is pretty cool, but it shuts down around 5:30…and I mean SHUTS DOWN - even the restaurants, which is kinda weird.
Went up to Deception, and hiked Rainier (well, 1 path of it)….
Enjoyed it, but like Vegas (for me), after about 3 days, I'm ready to head back home.

The Museum of Flight isn't on here yet, but it should be. They have a huge awning over the outdoor part which is across East Marginal and has the Concorde, 1st 747, 737, 727, Air Force 1 (707), and 787 line number 3. There's also some older WW2 stuff under there too, and the main part of the museum is even bigger.

I thought the underground tunnel tour was neat. Seattle burned a long time ago and the city was rebuilt on top of its former self. There are areas where you can see up through the sidewalk on the tour.

Take the ferry over to Bainbridge.

We also went to Victoria island for a day.

It depends how much time you have.

- Space Needle and surrounding specialty shops.
- Mt. Ranier (possible hike and finding the best weather day)
- Drive around Olympia National Park and maybe Hurricane Ridge (could be rainy with 50+mph winds)
- Mt. St. Helens (see the regrowth of the flattened forest areas), but a bit of a trip
- Butchart Gardens in Victoria is well worth it.
- Vancouver Stanley Park and a suspension bridge and treetop walk park
- If you have even more time, you can go further into Canada towards the ski resorts

Seattle. Meh.

Take a ferry to Bainbridge. Head west and hit some islands. The Pike market is cool... a couple of times. Ivars for lunch. Go see JP Patches statue.

Visit the cemetary up Capital Hill and visit the graves of Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee. Walk a few feet and visit a Nordstrom.
