Edit: I'll second the rec for the underground tour. We did it once and it was really cool. It changes periodically as the owners of the buildings above change and decide whether or not to allow the tours to use their space below.

1983. Ship had docked (commercial fisherman 81-84)... buddy and I went to Ivars... I saw him sitting about 3 booths away. I did have the clam chowder. he had more questions for me and my fishing travels. Real nice guy.

Wife and I took Chris Wedes and his wife to lunch at Rays in Ballard... about 15 years ago. The "setup" was awesome... JP returning my call one Saturday morning.
