That's actually a really sweet idea. I'd LOVE to have handwritten class notes from my beloved family members. Maybe not their business stats notes but the philosophy ones.

Sorry I pegged your for a male. Like I said, I don't pay too close attention and tend to assume incorrectly that most posters are guys.

My dad farmed and kept his ledger by hand. When he died, we found an old ledger (about 30+ years old) that was covered in dust and smelled like cigarettes. My mom and brother were going to throw it out, but I grabbed it because it was important to my dad, and he had put all those entries in himself.

When my dad passed away, we found a hand-written letter he had written to my grandmother (who was living in Beaumont) in the early 60s about how great the Gulf Freeway going to Galveston was going to be when they finished the construction. He died in 2003 and there was never a point in his lifetime that the Gulf Freeway from downtown to Galveston was completely free of construction.

I don't think we have handwritten class notes from my mom's dad, but we do have war diary and a map of the Pacific with annotations of his missions on it, which is pretty cool.

I still have a couple of novels I bought for undergrad classes at A&M that were assigned in history or English classes (for example, Patrick O'Brian's Master and Commander). My college textbooks were stored at my parents' house and destroyed in Hurricane Ike, along with a lot of other stuff from my childhood.

Kept the ones I liked. Still use sometimes today.

I kept all my constitutional law books and a handful of other books from my POLS degree. I still have all of the books from my MPA and AA. I fully intend to keep all books from my BM degree as well.

I think I had some undergraduate in my parents house, some in storage on graduate school, and postgraduate in the house.
