Haha. Reminds me of a situation from many years ago when I found the root cause and then fixed a software bug in an embedded product.

After testing my fix, I was walking back from the lab to my desk and I passed the project manager. I relayed to him that I tests were successful and the fix was valid.

He said:

"So, we're realizing opportunities."

I said:

"I don't know what that means, but I fixed the bug."

Calling a PowerPoint presentation a deck.

Seems like anyone VP and above at my company calls it a slide deck. Most everyone else calls it a power point. Calling it a deck is finance bro terminology imo.
