How long do you want to ignore this user?
After reading this thread I think I'd rather be a gaslighter than be gaslit.

Some of you are fragile as ****

Well obviously you need to pay a therapist thousands of dollars over several years to let you talk out your issues.

So this afternoon my son told my daughter that she's a "meany booty". My daughter cried because she in fact does not think she is a meany booty. Is that gas lighting? Still trying to understand. Maybe I should only be concerned if she didnt cry, indicating that she believes that she is a meany booty while in reality she's just being 3.

Gaslighting would be if he continues to call her a "meany booty" with increasing frequency over the next few months and/or years. Eventually causing her to refer to herself as a "meany booty" and retroactively believing she always been called that by everyone.
