Yeah, I did read that wrong.

Your dad must have been thrilled when Sly, Arnold, and Bruce Willis made a big deal out of their Planet Hollywood investment. Sounds like those guys are his kind of movie stars!

I would never let him live that down, LOL. Seeing JP in theaters as a kid was one of the best cinema experiences I ever had.

Yep. Totally blew everyone's minds because who doesn't like dinosaurs as a kid and they were real and they were huge and it was awesome. I'm sure I had the same experience when we rented it on VHS 6 months later though.

I browsed pretty quick, but didn't see these mentioned

Citizen Cane. For a movie many consider the best of all time, I thought it flat out sucked. I typically enjoy classic movies

Mulholland Drive. Not even a hot lesbo scene could save this one

Black Dhalia. Don't even know if it made it 30mins into this one

Species 2 was the worst one I've sat through in a theater. I think I was 15 when it came out and snuck in hoping to see boobs. Saw those and learned a valuable lesson: boobs can't solve everything.

Yeah, Citizen Kane with a near perfect score on RT makes no sense to me. That movie sucked balls.

On the flipside I don't think some of these films deserve a 0% on RT either. They weren't good, but not 0% bad.

A Simple Plan. I think that was the name with Billy Bob Thorton. Watched maybe a third of it and turned it off. Terrible movie.

I remember working in North Dakota back when I worked O&G. Wefinished drilling the last well so us directional crew needed something to do while they were tripping out of the hole. We drove all the way to minot for dinner and a movie. I would have rather stayed at the rig.

Somebody mentioned 2001: ASO....I can agree that the movie itself is a 3 hr borefest with no meaningful purpose other than to show groundbreaking visuals...which I think is the only reason its so highly regarded. As far as A Clockwork Orange...one of my favorites to watch drunk.
