spring breakers was so bad, there was a poster on this forum that was actually talking about it being his favorite movie of the year. vehemently defended it. made me realize i could film myself taking a poop and there is someone out there that would revel in the artistry of my excrement.
A movie I was utterly disappointed in, and as a self-professed nerd and should probably find something in it, but cannot.

I realize its place in history as ground breaking for the visuals, but the actual story is a just stupid and has no meaning no matter how much its fan boys think it is so deep and you have to interpret in however you think and cannot be wrong, unless of course you think it is stupid.

I felt the same thing about A Clockwork Orange. Hipsters live to talk about how deep it is and all the psychological impacts, but mostly I think Kubrick was just being weird Kubrick.

I'll admit I've never seen the flick because I'm not, you know, depraved, but I don't feel like an effort of this kind is valid without a screening of The Human Centipede.

See if you can make it all the way through Holy Mountain. Its the weirdest most ****ed up terrible pos movie ever. Took me several days to watch just because I wanted to say I did. I shouldn't have.
