Is there a food on Earth that butter doesn't make better? I certainly can't think of one.

I asked a friend and their response was ice cream. To which I responded, butter pecan ice cream.

I've got some beef ribs and a small cut of brisket smothered in real butter right now. In about another hour and a half and I'll be having a combo of oak smoke, salt, pepper, butter and beef hitting my stomach. Cannot wait.

I was cooking some eggs for my wife one time and she saw how much butter I was using. She wigged out and said "why are you using that much butter.......it's a nonstick pan" I simply replied, "I'm not using the butter to keep the eggs from sticking, I'm using the butter so my eggs don't taste like your eggs"

There are people who put butter in their coffee. I tried it once and was not impressed but to each his own.

never tried it, but i've heard sous vide'ing a steak with butter can pull some flavor away from the steak rather than adding

There's plenty of fruits that sound awful with butter. Grapes, mango, blueberries, oranges, etc. I'm not sure I'd want to eat skittles or jelly beans in butter. I'm sure some of you Homer Simpsons would eat Twizzlers dipped in butter.

is the premise using butter like a cracker? Or cooking said item in butter. Because cooking down blueberries in butter sound very good. Better than a raw blueberry.

this how I imagine pimento cheese being made:

1) take perfectly good bag of shredded cheddar cheese
2) add water
3) add pimentos
4) place in sun for 1 month
5) remove and strain water
6) spread paste on cracker
7) eat
8) barf

I did some Wagyu sous vide last night- worschestershire + brazilian steak spices + bay leaf in bag- finish on iron skillet with BUTTER to baste it for a few minutes.

It was amazing.

A small pinch of salt in the coffee grounds before brewing actually does wonders. I heard this, thought it sounded terrible, and had to look it up. Apparently there is some science to it, and it does taste pretty good. It has to do with how our taste buds work, but a slight amount of salt masks bitterness in the coffee.

Finishing butter? Great. I was talking about putting the butter in the bag while in the sous vide
