Chris Madrid's burned down a year or two ago. They are operating from a temporary location across the street using a food truck to prepare the food. Haven't been there to eat, but just wanted to make sure the OP knew it wasn't the same as it used to be.

My recommendation would be Rosarios for mexican food and The Cove if you want a burger near downtown.

Rosario's is great. Also, look into La Fonda on Main. Mi Tierra is kinda touristy but if you're trapped in the market area, well, it'll do. TC late night drunk drive through isn't bad.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Little Rhein a couple of blocks off of the river walk?

I'm going there for a function next week. I've walked past it dozens of times but never ate there. Just curious what to expect.

work close by and eat there 3 times a week. Totally addicted, and I don't even consider myself a fan of bbq chicken. Maybe it's the sauce, rice, and beautiful senoritas that serve me with a smile every time...
