Josephine St.- Order the creamy spinach salad and any of the entrees. You won't be disappoint.

Rosario's- good margs and the tacos are a nice switch from greaseball TexMex.

Don Pedro's- this is the greaseball TexMex you are looking for.

last time we stayed at the Hotel Emma we ate at Cured and the guys ate at Josephine St after golf. Both very different but meals were good. Also the bar at Emma was nice.

Loved the vibe at Josephine St. - diveish with cold beer and steaks.
What do you boys want for breakfast BBQ ?.....OK Chili.

I love Mi Tierra. The food is above San Antonio average, and the atmosphere brings back some great family memories.

Bigas on the Banks. Puts Little Rhine to shame.

Church's Chicken on Wurzbach is pretty good. So is Jim's there at Fredricksburg and Huebner. I'd avoid the Burger King at Huebner and Babcock as my brother worked there in high school and one of the cooks used to spit in the biscuit batter.

That Jim's sucks. It's just spillover from when people don't want to wait for Cracker Barrel. The Jim's at 1604 and Blanco is what you're looking for.

Rosario's for mexican, I'm not a huge fan of La Gloria's food, but the atmosphere is good.
Gordough's if you want to eat on the river
The Granary at The Pearl for pretentious BBQ (it's good - if you're there on a Friday they do a pastrami that is awesome). They brew their own beer too.


2M off WW White has really good BBQ.
Smoke Shack on Broadway has really good BBQ.
Cured makes an outstanding burger.
Tenko Ramen in The Pearl is delicious.
