There is a place under the Brazilian steak house at RIver Center Mall that is legit. I can never remember the name, but it is awesome. Casa Rio and all the rest of the Mexican Restaurants on the river walk are crap. Eat there and order the crawfish enchiladas. You will thank me later.

If not in the river walk mood go to Gujaio's at the junction of Blanco and LP410. Enjoy your anus being burned out by the salsa.

love Little Rhein - they have seating terraces that face the river walk
also Boudro's - long time fave since honeymoon in 93
Cured in pearl is thumbs up
Paesano's is another good choice

Zinc is good a lot of the locals that work by the river walk eat there.

Nonna Osteria is IMO the best Italian on the riverwalk

Earl Abel's is the place your looking for. It's relocated to Broadway near the corner of Broadway and 281/37. It's delicious. Be sure to leave room for a slice of pie.
