I'm getting what I wanted for vday..
I got my Aunt to stay at our house and watch the kids tomorrow night, and I got a hotel for wife and me.

I thought I was pure gold. Left work early to surprise her ( i don't normally do) and make sure house was clean (i always help with that) because I knew she was out and about with kids. Got her some jewelry (do on occasion), chocolate, and wrote a note - which made her happy cry (thinking I'm so in). Made dinner for the kids, ordered food to go for her and I, kids watch a movie while we have dinner, kids asleep (i put them to bed-which I always do, and I'm fine with it) by 8:00ish....she was asleep by 8:15ish.
So yeah I drank and played Madden.

Husband had a great Valentine's... while he was in the shower I lit a candle, got "dolled up" (redid makeup, put on some fake eyelashes and changed out of my SAHM uniform)... when he got out, I slid some of these "kinky vows" under the door... Thanks for the advice, I didn't spend a dime and I'm sure it was one of his best Valentine's... although, we did chicken instead of steak for dinner, so maybe next year I'll step up my game.
