Anyone own a pair? Any good?

If you do a search I know there have been at least a couple of threads on them with some first-hand reviews.

I have a pair of ostrich and I like them better than my Lucheses.

I have always thought Tecovas looked good from the pics online. I have been sceptical as I have numerous pair of Lucchese from the 1883 to the Classics and I enjoy wearing them all. I purchased a pair of the Tecovas Wyatt in Pecan a few weeks ago. They are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. They feel like they are hand crafted just for my feet. My Tecovas feel like they are better made and they look better than any pair of Lucchese I own. Just my opinion....

Everyone has their opinion, but I had bought a pair and ended up returning them. Thought the leather looked a little fake, and Ive always been more partial to Anderson Beans.

I've got two pair of lizard Tecovas that I wear to the office. Not sure they would hold up to everyday wear use for a long time. The price is right and all of the city dwellers at work don't know the difference between Leddys or Dan Posts so no big deal.

Just bought a pair of the caimans. So far so good.

Meh... the leather looks nice, but until that make square toes - they just look like old man/city slicker boots to me.

Have a pair of lizard Tecovas that look and feel nice. They are more narrow in the ankle and calf than the square toed boots I am used to, the pant cuffs slip further down my heel and I had to buy shorter jeans.

I have a pair of ostrich and the calf skin uppers are softer than my Lucchese's. Good boot but I wish they'd make a square toe.

Have a pair of black caiman belly and they are top notch. So good I'm planning on ordering another pair in different leather. Worth every penny

I ordered a park of The Earls at Christmas and I love them so far. Really sharp too.

I ordered a pair in the exact size as my Tony Lamas. They were extremely small so I returned them. They looked great but I don't want to back and forth on sizing. They are going to open a retail store in Austin sometime this year. I'll try them again then.

The back and forth on returns takes all of 2 days, the customer service is great

CITY SLICKER??!! I doubt seriously you've ever been off the concrete. Square toes look like something a Rexall Kid would wear!

It may not apply to you directly, but square toes are included in the "I'm country. You know, Katy, seven lakes country," starter kit.

Came in the mail yesterday. Out of the box more comfortable than my last pair of Lucchese

I have ostrich, caiman, and calfskin Tecovas. I love all three. I've spoken with the guy who started the company, and I am sure they probably advertise this, but the boots are made in the same factory and on the same assembly line in Mexico where Lucchesi's are made. They are the same boots... they just cut out the middle man and that cuts the price in half.

Also, square toed boots are for rednecks.

I applied for a job in their corporate office. I think they make pretty things that are decent quality.

Yes, that's exactly how I'd like my boots to be described...

I own a pair of boots and two of their belts and feel like I got my money's worth on every item. I would definitely buy more boots and items from them in the future
