Well, generally, if you're going 5-10 over the speed limit, you're doing a lot of passing anyway. And if someone is going 10 over, and slowing you down, you're going too damn fast.whoop91 said:I don't care how fast or unfast you are going. The left lane is for passing. That's not national. People outside Texas may stay in the left lane, but they are all going 5-10 miles over the speed limit. That, I can live with.

Get in the right lane and leave those folks for the highway patrol to take care of. You don't know why that person is speeding, and it isn't your job to slow them down.
Yeah, but if I'm passing cars even slower than me, they can just wait their turn.Trident 88 said:MooreTrucker said:Well, generally, if you're going 5-10 over the speed limit, you're doing a lot of passing anyway. Great, now I want brisket. There is a Mission BBQ in Tampa, which is a chain but really good. It's just so far away.

Putting Texas on everything. Having the state of Texas on a beer bottle, or a waffle iron in the shape of Texas, or a Texas edition pickup truck. Sorry Ohio no one wants you on their beer bottle. No one wants a waffle in the shape of Kansas. No one wants a West Virginia edition pickup truck.
This actually does exist. I think it's a Tundra, but I have seen the "Mountaineer Edition" of a pickup.Max Power said:

Keep Right
Watch for signs on Texas multi-lane highways that read "Left Lane For Passing Only." These signs let you know that the left lane on a divided highway is not a "fast" lane; it is a passing lane.
After you pass someone, move into the right lane once you've safely cleared the vehicle. Impeding the flow of traffic by continuing to drive in the left lane is punishable by a fine of up to $200.

Technically, isnt this a czech thing? North Dakota, Nebraska, and Minnesota all have some areas with pretty strong Czech ties like central Texas. Betting Kolaches are a big deal there as well.et98 said:

Colorado is in the same boat. Very surprising how many people have the state flag plastered on their vehicle.94DallasAG said:

Years ago, Burger King had a menu item called the "Texas Whopper." I asked what was special about it and was told "oh, it's just a Whopper....but with mustard on it."
So, I guess mustard on a burger is a Texas thing.
Much better than all the mouth breathing Yankees who put ketchup on their burgers

So you're going 10 mph over the speed limit in the left lane. What's your opinion of the person behind you going 11 mph over the speed limit?Win At Life said:74OA said:No, that's national.Win At Life said:Not moving to the right lane while driving 5 miles under the speed limit so people can pass.Tanya 93 said:
