Considering getting a cover up on part of a current tattoo I have. I have been thinking about going in to the military and doing officer candidate school and friend suggest I do a cover up to be more politically correct. Was laid off over a year ago and need to do something so this might be the route I take. So looking for good tattoo artist

What is the current tattoo?

Yeah I'm looking to find a good artist. These ones in college station weren't the best so I think it may be somewhat easy

I'll do it for you.

I've watched my fair share of Ink Master so I'm pretty sure I could do a good job of covering it up.

Let me know so I can hop on craigslist and get a machine.

I think it would be good to talk with one to see what could be done as far as the cover up goes too. They may have opinions on what would look best with existing lines

Turn it into an Alabama state flag and then get a ROLL TIDE sticker for your truck. You'll fit right in.

I think in your situation, you're the actual snowflake. You want to be in a position of leadership but yet is too afraid to stand up for what you believe in.

And getting a tattoo of the confederate flag was a stupid decision anyway. I wouldn't trust you to make life and death decisions for our soldiers.

This was a good call using the deer + forest landscape to cover the entire tattoo. It would have looked awkward if the noose was left floating.

Not really a snowflake when requirements are no offensive tattoos. So wrong there.

And I don't need you to trust me because your opinion doesn't matter. My friend who is an officer in the reserves thinks I would be a great fit. And more then likely I would be shooting for corps of engineers.

Just go around the tattoo parlors in Houston. There is great talent all over the place down there. A coverup should be rather easy to do. If you aren't sure about the actual regulations go talk to a recruiter about it. The regs come and go. When I first went in it was right after Fallujah so they were needing to fill dead men's boots. If you had a pulse, could pull a trigger and not break under stress you were in. Battle flag or not. I know several dudes that had it. I imagine things have tightened up a lot though. Tattoo regulations directly correlate with retention efforts.

Regs are also branch specific.

This is why all my tats are of the actual CSA flag.
