How long does it stay cold? I put 2 dos Equis, lime, and salt in one the other night, covered it, and then walked away for 2-3 hours. Came back and I swear it was colder. How is this possible???

Mine always stay cold for about five minutes.

I usually don't wait long enough to find out

I have one of each and can't tell a huge difference. The yeti and the RTIC seem to work about the same. The ozark trail doesn't work quite as well, but it's rare I have it sitting in my car all day and works well enough for the price

Friend of mine works in the lab at a paper mill. They did a 12 hour test with coffee and another the next day with ice. Yeti vs. Ozark 30 oz SS cup.

There was a half degree difference in the coffee temp after 12 hours favored the yeti.
No distinguishable temp difference in the ice test.

Edit to clarify... The coffee was obviously colder 12 hours later. The comparison of that cooler temp showed a half degree difference.

Love my 14 dollar yeti knockoff. And even though I don't need to keep it cold for 12+ hours it does the job well and no condensation on the outside.
