I have 62 accredited hours at A&M but haven't been enrolled since 2007. I want to go back by way of Blinn then hopefully getting readmitted. So my question is: how long are those 62 hours good for? Is there an expiration, anyone familiar with this?

Pretty sure they don't expire, but degree plans change, so they may or may not fulfill your degree requirements.

I'd think your credits were still valid. Entrance exam grades and maybe graduate hours expire eventually.

Edit: after a few seconds of checking, I have no evidence that undergrad credits expire.

they're good indefinitely as far as I know. I have TAMU credits from 2004 and University of ARkansas credits from 2002 that I 'm using right now toward a second BS.

I attended aTm from 98-03, then left and came back in 09 to finish in '10.

All credits were good, and original degree plan was honored.

Went from 04-08 then left for medical reasons, came back and finished in 2012 and although the degree plan changed, I was grandfathered in on the old plan I was on.

What about for degrees other places? Say I want to go back and get my BSN somewhere not A&M but all the pre-reqs were completed 95-99? Is that just dependent on the other school?

Then you have to look at what transfers and is accepted. I had to do that all the time when I was at a&m and simultaneously taking blinn classes and online classes through a Dallas JC to get the crap done.

My older sister had a joint graduation party with her son. Different universities, but same semester.

I had about 80 hrs of college credit and a screwed up transcript(records done on paper, not computers) that showed I had not properly dropped a class. Everything was accepted except I had to "re-take" that dropped class because on paper, I had failed it even if there weren't failing grades reported. The interval between those classes and being readmitted was 17 years.

Let me tell you I paid way more attention to record keeping the second time around than I did the first! I kept names, dates, syllabus, quiz, exam and final scores on EVERYTHING until I graduated.

There was a world of difference between registering with pencil and hash marks while standing on a tarp covered gym floor vs. computer log in while in pjs at home!!!
