I'm used to wearing brown casual shoes with my brown belt to go with jeans.

I just bought a black Sketchers casual shoe. Do I need to wear a black belt with these shoes or can I still wear the dark brown belt?

Now maestro, you've to wear clothes in proportion to your physique. There are definite dos and don'ts, good buddy of wearing a bold striped shirt. A bold stripe shirt calls for solid colored or discreetly patterned suits and ties.

UNLESS you are wearing your shirt untucked as mentioned above, then who cares what color belt you have on if any at all.....hell, in that case just throw on an old piece of rope Jethro style!!!

I actually bought some black square toe dress shoes because you can't find round toes these days in anything other than wingtips.

I like my square-toes, both shoes and boots. I wouldn't wear them with anything super dressy, but they look fine to me for casual occasions.
