Football players run around, push each other, and occasionally one of them throws/catches (but like 35% of the time (or more) the guy can't even catch it)(either that or the freaking other team catches it). Soccer players run non-stop for 90 minutes and if it goes to overtime, guess what, that's right, more running. What the hell is your problem man?

And I just re-read your list and you freaking listed kick! Kickers are specialized there are only 2 dudes on the whole team who kick. And if they were going to take your challenge and run routes they would get freaking murdered and they would not catch passes. It's actually 3.29 million per player on the 25 man roster.

30 teams. 25 men per team. 3.29 million per player. That's 2.46 billion spent on players this year. Subtract the 33 million A-rod is making this year that would put the total at 2.43 billion spent on each player. Divide that figure by ((25*30)-1). Then you get a 3.25 million per player. So that's a $40,000 difference in salary per year.

The average salary in 2009:

MLB $3.25 Million a year

NFL just under $1.8 Million a year

NBA $5.2 Million a year

English Premier League is $1.8 Million a year
