i don't think my chapter has been allowed back on campus yet.

i had an AWESOME time in college and i think joining a fraternity was a big part of it.

If you want to waste all your money on blue mirror sun glasses, fishing shirts, boat shoes, and buying friends for the rest of your life... don't join a frat.

I don't think I will ever understand the Aggie obsession with hating on fraternities. It's an organization, like many others, where you can get out of it whatever you are willing to put into it. I was in one at Tech, and yes, I partied a lot. I also served two years as the social service chairman and one as secretary. Our chapter was known on campus as a party organization, although we won the philanthropy award more than once. We also had a scholarship within the fraternity for ALL members who made above a 3.0. It more than paid for itself. I met hundreds of people through it. Am I friends with all of them still? Of course not. But I made many friends that I will still be friends with until one of us dies.

Go to rush, learn which ones have the kind of people in it that you want to be associated with, and pledge with them. It won't mean you hate your school.

If you want to join a Frat, go to Baylor.

ok, I know I'm gonna get reamed on this (the GB hates the christian frats) but here goes anyways.

Wrangler- dont know exactly what you are looking for but if you are a believer, I would suggest looking into one of the Christian frats that are out there. If you are looking just for the party scene then by all means, go with the others that have been named on here, but if you want something deeper, I would suggest looking into either BYX, BCA, AMC(?). I myself was involved in BYX for 4 years and had the time of my life, made relationships that have lasted since ive been gone (going on 4 years now) and also grew closer in my relationship with God. and rocky, we all know Tceh is a haven for the greeks. If you want a frat, go to Tceh.

Buddy, when you ask that question you are just begging idiots who call themselves Aggies to come out of the woodwork and berate the presence of fraternities. Don't pay attention to that. The two best decisions I ever made in my life were 1. Coming to Texas A&M and 2. Joining Kappa Sigma. I love Texas A&M dearly and have been an Aggie my whole life. My Dad was in the Corps and was totally open to the idea of me joining a fraternity. I won't stoop to other people's levels and berate other campus organizations, but it's just as easy to criticize other organizations as it is to criticize fraternities.

Oh and screw Tceh as well as t.u. Most Aggie greeks consider the same chapters of their own fraternity at those schools to be complete dewshes.
