Be very skeptical in dealing with 979-652-1200. Wanting $1600 for 2 tu tickets in Sec 125, row 22, but was very willing to come down to $800 total. Said he couldn't send me a PM because he didn't have a premium account. Couldn't reply to my original post because he had reached his "5 daily post limit" (is there even a limit on posting?). Said his username was Sims, but probably pulled that username out of a hat. Sims has a valid acct from 2006 and is TexAgs Legend status with thousands of posts (including recent days with more than 5 posts in a day).

This is getting to be sad. I have been selling my same seats since 2016 and this year I have people texting me accusing me of a scam. Why don't people just check history? So instead of trying to make sure I sell only to Aggies I'll have to list them on Seat Geek or StubHub.

I believe I was just scammed by this same guy mentioned above with the number 979-652-1200. He was posting under a different username though. The username had an AgTag and other credentials. Paid him $200 and then he ghosted me.

How do you know what the username was? Actually PM you or he just said that's who he was?

He posted the tickets for sale here. He marked them sold right when I paid him but I never heard back from him. He won't reply to texts or answer calls.

I posted my info which I understand anyone can reply to but he posted sold as soon as I paid. And I called him out on the thread for being a scammer and he didn't defend himself.

Definitely a possibility that the original guy got hacked. With him marking them "sold" means he's either a scammer or he got hacked.

Or someone else bought from him around same time as you.

I was scammed out of more - from a FB post though not here. I would rather pay the fees of seat geek or game time or one of those online sellers than ever trust a person again

Add user Livetosmoke to the list. His real "name" is Barry Child and his cell is 713-568-9948. Contacted me saying he had some tickets for sale, I said let me pay for one and you transfer and then I'll pay you for the other one and he said ok. After I paid, he said he could only transfer two at a time so I had to pay for the second one. After much back and forth, he stopped responding to PMs. Been on Texags since this summer but posts mostly on the Politics board. Sure would be great if the mods would delete these scam accounts.

Update - now he's changed his username to "roadking45"

He copied and posted verbatim a post from the 1st page on this thread to get his post count up just now.

He requested payment by Apple Pay using the following phone number: 2314-394-9823 and then requested payment by paypal using the following: provinetroll@gmail.com Rachel P Johnson

With a quick google search, his cell immediately popped up on a couple of websites as a known scammer.

scammed a friend of mine for $200 tickets. These people are somehow gaining access to user cell numbers and texting people directly, I would bet they hacked the registry of the TexAgs website. Be very careful here, they are dug in good!

Please always use a method of verification, or be able to recover your money before sending into the abyss.

I think he means they have access to our cell numbers not that they're using others cell numbers. I guess spoofing technology exists so maybe…

I'm an idiot. I felt like it was a scam, but the tickets are for my son and his friends and they already had one person back out of an agreement, but this guy below just scammed me out of $210. He wanted $840 for four tickets, but I didn't feel comfortable sending it all.

He claims he posts under the username "solishu", but when I asked if he would reply to one of his posts, he wouldn't. I knew I shouldn't have sent anything, but I didn't want my son and his friends to potentially miss out if he was telling the truth.

Guy that goes by Eddy85 on TexAgs. When you email with him his email name is Orlando Womack. His phone number is 817-380-4138. He said his name is Edward Bosman. He's trying to sell LSU tickets.

Question for you all: I bought tickets a long time ago on TickPick for the LSU game. It says my tickets have been delivered and seem to just be a pdf with the 4 tickets. Has a big QR code on the middle od page for each ticket and all the othee usual GameDay ticket information. Are these likely legit tickets? I'm used to the tickets being in some sort of app that has QR codes that change.

We are coming from California and bringing my family of 4. I'd hate to go all that way and be left out of the stadium.
