The fiscal year at A&M is Sept 1 - Aug. 31 so that would make sense but that doesn't mean that is the case for annual contracts.

Her coach should be telling her what kind of mileage and workouts she should be doing based on her previous experience and age. My daughter was a varsity cross country and track athlete all 4 years of high school and the coach told them these things. And different athletes had different summer and in season plans.

She has great direction from coach, just curious because you see a lot of info on the track 800m workouts and not a whole lot on the long runs and why cross country is important for them and such. Thanks for the info. I like to get all the knowledge I can and pass on to her.

I think late high school it might get treated differently but as an incoming freshman she might realize she wants to do longer distance after doing xc

unfortunately Blake Harris has announced that he is not going to use his last season of eligibility Adam Averett should be back and have 4 years of eligibility! Hoping we add another multi! We'll have about 4 or 5 on the women's side

Said stepping on the line. Said he did it in round 1 and was given a warning so second violation was a DQ.

Why go pro when with the right NIL deal you can get free coaching, strength training, medical support, a full training group, sports Psyc and have someone pay for your room and board and miscellaneous expenses?
