Flying out of Love Field this afternoon, got there super early because of supposed TSA pre-check shut down (didn't happen). Since I had all this time on my hands, I sit down at Cool River cafe for lunch.

I look over and seated directly across from me is Chris Pronger. After eating I went over and shook his hand. Like a true hockey guy he dropped about 5 f-bombs in our brief conversation. Nice enough guy, must've been pissed about Canada taking that L. Told him I respected his game even though I hated the Blues.

Anyway, thanks for reading my Substack.

Rumors are floating that Mikko will probably miss a few weeks at minimum. Honestly this could be a blessing in disguise. Would allow him to get some freaking rest.

Miro and Lindell could use some rest as well, or at least a reduction in minutes. Those two along with Mikko have played a metric ton and I'm not sure their continued use rate/TOI is conducive to playoff success.

Every USA player on the roster needs to be given a standing ovation, no matter what team they play for , when they come in to play the Stars.
