Yep. The U.S. snubbed him for the U17 World Hockey Tournament. Canada gave him a shot, so he's stayed loyal to Canada. Kind of like Hully did with the US back in the day.

I agree with this. As long as he keeps doing what he's doing I don't see how he's not on the Olympic team in 2026. I mean none of the Hughes brothers or Matthews play a physical game either.

ETA: Did robo come up through traditional USA/NTDP route?

Not to get political but it is kind of ironic how these two teams are meeting. This country needs an injection of patriotism and like in 1980, USA hockey may be a big catalyst.
