Your tickets are terrace center which should be $45 a game.

Terrace front row are the 1st row in the 300 level on both ends of the rink. They have charged more for those for at least the last 4 years. Can't say before that. They are $52 a game.

I know that I wasn't changed taxes on top of the per game ticket price a couple of years ago. Now, it seems that we are being charged taxes and it isn't included in the per game amount.

I used to be a partial STH and from what it sounds like I'm glad I got out when I did. Ever increasing prices and more and more restrictions and hoops to jump through.

Finally got my ticket rep on the phone after days.
They were not charging me tax on top of the ticket price.

The Stars mistakenly charged me for an extra game this year due to losing a home game to the Finland trip.

Now, that I verified I'm getting 21 games next year my invoice makes sense.

Pete DeBoer: Yeah there was a buzz in our dressing room about it. Because we play in the same building and Dallas really is a pretty small town from a sports world. There's a lot of connectivity between the teams and the players. I think our players have been to quite a few Mavs games and I think they've gotten friendly and familiar with a lot of their players. I know you saw last year I think in the playoffs, we had some Mavs players at our playoff games cheering us on and wearing Stars jerseys. There's a big connection there and there was a big buzz in our room and obviously a little bit of a shock like everybody else.

Just from a coach's perspective, if a guy like that on your team is no longer, how do you handle that?

DeBoer: I can't put myself in Jason Kidd's shoes and wonder what was going on there. I think it's interesting, we're all here to win a championship. Sean Shapiro, on Spits & Suds said that folks in the organization are confident Miro is back in time for the playoffs. The hope is for him be back mid April and play a couple of games leading into the postseason.

He also said there are sources around the league that say Dallas has "irons in the fire" to move Dumba. The belief is they'll unload him and pick up a puck mover of some sort.

If he's back before the end of the season it's good for us, but that's LTIR cap space that won't or can't be used.

I think a few things are in play there.

His projected timeline is so close, I don't think Nill wants to do the sleazy Vegas thing and hold him out if he can really play.

Another is trade assets. Yes, the added cap room would be great, but to get a lot of help, we'd have to give up a lot. We don't have a ton of draft capital left, so we'd be talking good prospects and roster players.

In reality, if you can offload Dumba, you would have over $8M available. That's more than enough to get a puck mover. In fact, I don't see the cap being the limiting factor here. I think it's the trade pieces, especially if you're asking a team to take Dumba off your hands.

I would be open to Seth Jones. If they took Dumba and Kyrou/Stranges, they wouldn't have to eat much salary for the deal to work. And with Dumba off the books, and Ceci a UFA after this year, you could make the long term cap work. I think Chicago wants to unload the contract and I don't get the feeling it would take too terribly much. Jones is a great puck mover and could plug the hole in the lineup until Miro gets back. Then he slides in great as a 2nd pairing guy. Probably won't happen, but I wouldn't hate it.
