Just looking around at some stats, and as of now statistically we are the best defensive team in the league.
You pair that with our offense, which I would consider top 10 for sure, and I would absolutely put us as a top 3 team in the NHL right now when just looking at statistics.
And our offense is what we've been complaining about as either hit or miss or just not getting going for whatever reason. In other words, still a ton of meat left on the bone to get to be a top 3 offense. Our PP is damn near bottom 10 in the NHL and we are still top 10 in Goals scored per Game.
This recipe gets us 110+ pts in the regular season no doubt.
- We've given up the fewest shot attempts
- We've given up the fewest goals
- Our goalies are Top 5 in Save % and combined 1st in GAA
- Our PK is top 5 in the NHL
