Yeah she was running sideways down the final stretch and started walking. Probably dehydration or something
None of our girls will advance, UT finishes strong and easily takes 2nd

The tu girls finished ridiculously strong, even if Grace Plain stayed in the top ten, we still would have lost! Texas struggled throughout the year and only ran one 6k and ran most of their meets in better conditions up north and had better legs today… But they ran as a strong team today and finishes strong with 2 girls in the top ten and their 3-5 in the top 30, which is exactly what I expected us to do

There you go! Through 4.2k all our men move up! Casarez in 3rd! Top 20 all within a second! Anything can happen, just gotta stay in good position! Need Romano to catch up!

Gavin Hoffpauir places 20th after placing 50th last year, this man might be going sub 4 this year with this strength
Chhikara in 26th not bad after 3 years withour running. cross country collegiately
Siddharth Jayaraman in 41st, what a huge race for him! he wasn't even in our top 7 last year!
Men will place 3rd, which im sure is dissappointing to them, but a huge improvement from last year! From scoring 237 last year to 108 this year!!

I thought after last year we would have a stellar team this year with Goddard being in the mix, but things didn't work out that way, but other girls step up and did well. Sorry about Grace to end of the race.
This would have been our best chance in years to qualify but it just wasn't to be this year. The coach has done an outstanding job with the team, but I really think we have to get one or two maybe international runners to help conquer Arkansas and Texas.
Is there any chance of getting an at large bid? The south central never get an at large bid. I am guessing it is a weak region.
Really happy for Chung. I have seen the improvement all season and also his hunger to do well. The men's team has done very well but again to conquer Arkansas and Texas we have to get some top maybe international recruits.

Flower Mound, Southlake, and Lovejoy girls racing today at Nike South. 48 degrees, 100% chance of rain. The top 7 out of that group would be running at Nationals easily. I'm sure Lovejoy is looking forward to their shot at the 6A. Would be fun if not for the crap weather. Our Kingwood girls know they're stuck in 4th at best, but I was hoping they might use this race to try the novel idea of even splits...
