Natalie's Flower Mound girls got 3rd today at Nike South. Carroll and Lovejoy clipped them. Flower Mound's lack of depth finally got them. But check these scores.

I saw that, I wonder why that was! I wonder if it was fatigue or a post state meet high! I know the coaches of the runner who place 2nd San Juanita Leal! She's a workhorse and going to make a college extremely happy! Sadly, tu seems to be the favorite! Two runners from her smaller city are both thriving at tu nice to see Conde de Frankenburg take the victory!

We certainly had a post state high. Finished 7th today. We got on the stand at state, had no chance of winning, and were extremely happy to reach peak potential. Every one of the girls has been sick in the past two weeks. There was just nothing to run for today, but they still went out and got 7th. As for Flower Mound, they were very pedestrian at 6 and 7. All it took was one bonk and SLC beat them. Lovejoy has been champing at the bit all season to race them. Anyway, a great race between 3 great teams. Race them every week for 10 weeks, I'd bet each of them wins at least twice.

Our #2 is going to Tech. FYI, our #1 has a sister who swims for A&M. Their dad ran track at UH, and our former coach coaches XC at UH. She has great potential at XC once she gives up swimming. PR 12 seconds lower than Parker at state...from 3 years ago.

And yeah, that girl with 4 names was awesome.
