Imho, the league needs to get that type of hit out of the game. It's so dangerous. I think Eberle's hit on Cogliano in the SEA/COL series was worse, and he wasn't suspended. So who knows if they'll suspend Kolesar, but I'm guessing not.

Man…I just saw some of Otters advanced analytics in the playoffs, and he's flat out been bad in relation to some of those. I know analytics aren't everything, but that's still pretty disappointing from what we've seen from him before.
We have not seen 2022 Calgary series Oettinger, that's for sure. He really hasn't looked "elite" to me since Wedgewood was hurt and he had to shoulder way too much of the workload. Don't get me wrong, he's been good, but not as good as he can be or we've seen him.
A part of me is worried he's running out of gas. He's never had to play this much hockey in a season his entire life.
On the flipside, I'm optimistic because I think we'll see prime Otter soon, and this team still hasn't played it's best hockey (which I also expect soon). If we can eliminate Seattle...watch out.

I think this Seattle series has made the Stars deploy their intellectual and systematic hockey game rather than their physical game and it has brought out a strong side. I hope this evolution can help them through the next stage of play if God willing, we beat the kraken tonight.

Respectfully disagree. He's a 24 year old elite athlete. He can handle playing a game every other day.
He's a young elite athlete sure, but the cumulative effect of a season takes its toll. There was a definite drop off in his play when Wedgewood was out and he was carrying the load.
There's a reason no goalie has won the cup after playing more than 60 games during the season in 14 years (edit: Vasilevskiy is the exception. He did it 2 years ago with 63 GP). Otter played 62.

It was definitely hoarding but looks like it didn't cause injury.
