I'm posting this here because the Baseball Forum is where I post most frequently. I just got off the phone with my older sister, Mary to find out how her appointment at the VA hospital in Houston went this morning. They were checking her breasts and her lymph nodes to see how her breast cancer was doing. This is Mary's second bout with Breast Cancer. She had it about 15 years ago, and beat it due the chemo she underwent. Before they released her from her appointment this morning, they scheduled her for surgery tomorrow morning. The only reason they let her go home today was because she told them she had to pick her grandbabies up from school today and that was more important to her than her health. And then she dared them to try and stop her from leaving the hospita;Anyhow, for the VA to react with such a sense of urgency is kinda scary to me, knowing the VA like I do. I would really appreciate y'all's prayers because, quite frankly, I can't lose anybody else so soon after losing Casey.

Prayers for your sister...Lord, please draw her close and give her healing

God, be with this family. Guide these doctors' minds and hands and use them to heal Mary. May your peace and comfort be over this family.
