As Taylor said I agreed that I would have liked Young to stay on 1 more year to be more consistent. She seems to be not ready for the big meets. I don't think it has anything to do with the long NCAA season because she has competed sparingly certainly less than the longhorn athletes.

Really good chance. In order for her to not quality, 4 of 6 time qualifiers need to come from the final heat.

Anyone watch the women's 400 qualification rounds? When Charokee ran the analysts mentioned that she competed for Texas A&M and that when you run for a school like that she may have too many races on legs due to NCAAs bc she's forced to run relays in addition to her 400m and that may be too much or too many laps on her legs. They really didn't make our school sound great when they said that. Wtf. Seems like it worked out for Athing. Idk. I was just surprised to hear that. Seems like an industry talking point that may be affecting our recruiting.

I think you guys are reading too much into that comment. I watch a LOT of pro track and I've heard similar comments, it's more of a compliment discussing schools who have successful programs that run deep into the year. I know Richards-Ross is a sip and all but she's paid the Aggie program and Coach Henry respect before on broadcasts.

Perhaps, but that's been a documented reason as to why we've lost several of our elite athletes to the portal. They are being told Pat Henry works them too hard and relies on too few individuals to rack up points.
