EXACTLY! They ran one home meet, relays need real life practice. Our sprinter depth is Henry's excuse, well who's fault is that!

With Sam Whitmarsh and Nick Mirabelli not competing we needed our relays to step up! This relay team had potential. But rarely were all 4 healthy at the same time. And God forbid we run anyone else in a PRACTICE meet. But it's okay we can have 4 mile relay teams that's excuseable if we have points coming from lots of other events, but we don't. We really really need the sprinters to step up in the open races, and Bamidele, Mpoke, Smith, Miller to step up!

We have to get more competitive in the sprints for both men and women.

We used to be the standard and now we just aren't competitive. I don't think we have anyone on the mens or women's side capable of finishing in the top 8 at nationally in the 100 or 200.

You're right! It's sad we don't dominate this relay like we used to! There's a chance Laila Owens if she runs to her potential that she can score but it's hard to predict if we're getting the 22.5 Laila or the 23.1 Laila Achane hasn't been himself since the beginning of the year, happened last year as well! I have faith in our girls 4x100 however!
