Losing Stark sucks for us, but if Lester performs and someone like Valby scores, we can make up those points. Definitely takes away our MOE though. Anna Hall also entered two individual events beyond already qualifying in the heptathlon. We will see what she actually sticks with at nationals.
Should be a fun meet.

Agree forgot about Valby! Her confident running style helps her in big meets, points from her in the 5k would be huge. She should be fresh as well. The "other" contributors such as Claire Bryant, Nateica Hooper, Imogen Barrett, Wilkinson and Watson need to all get through and produce. The Texas sprinters didn't perform that great at nationals last year… let's see if they peaked too early again. They've been running a lot and most will be tripling and in these meets where they run multiple rounds it comes back to get them!

After finishing second at the SEC Championships in the 800-meter run and adding more time to his freshman season, Texas A&M's Robert Samuel Whitmarsh was preparing for the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Or so he thought.

"It's a condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, and he was born with an extra electrical pathway to his heart," father Robert Luther Whitmarsh said. And it's a real pain now that he will not get to finish the season."
